Mantels from Hand Hewn beams
Taking ancient reclaimed beams and re-purposing them into traditional or modern settings can provide very interesting decor. In this case, a wine room has been transformed into a very modern but very old scene. The mantel and shelving were cut from columns and beams from barns over 100 years old.
Torched planking
Ceiling planks were repurposed from a demolished Cashmere, WA apple packing plant. The planking was then torched to provide the darker aged look. The wrapped beam on the right has a clear finish which distinguished it from the ceiling planking which is torched and brushed with no finish
